Annecy Animációs Filmfesztiválon a nagydíjat (rövidfilm) Adriaan Lokman kapta Barcode című filmjéért, míg Barry Purves animációs komédiája, a Hamilton Mattress nyerte el a legjobb elismerését a tévéfilmes szekcióban. A fesztiválon a 33 országból érlkezett 245 versenyfilm közül kellett kiválasztania a legjobbakat a négy tagú zsűrinek, amelynek tagja volt Michael Dudok de Wit, Oscar-díjas rendező is. ( a többiek Wendy Tilby, Hélène Vayssières, Bernard Génin, Pete Docter)
