A versenyprogram ettől függetlenül nagyon izgalmasnak ígérkezik: Jean-Luc Godard új alkotása mellett, Spike Lee és az Ida rendezője, Pavel Pawlikovski új filmje, illetve a házi őrizetben élő iráni rendező, Jafar Panahi filmje, a Three Faces is versenyez és a fesztivál szervezői kérvényezni fogják, hogy személyesen is részt vehessen a fesztiválon.
